I’m conducting a three day intensive training in Raleigh, NC

May 12, 13,&14 from 8am-6 pm each day.

It’s going to be a combination POST Attachment and Trauma Therapist Training as well as a

POST Attachment Parenting Camp.

Completion of this course counts towards Level 1 Certification in

POST Attachment and Trauma Therapy.

This will be the first time I have conducted my trainings in this manner but do to the fact that I am doing a lot fewer I felt it was a good opportunity to expose therapists to a complete training experience in three days.

What will I be covering during these three days and how will it benefit you?

Day One:

  • Therapists will meet to learn and explore the POST Regulatory Therapy model
  • The foundation of attachment and why so many attachment professionals miss the point from the first session.
  • What Allan Schore has to say about attachment that changes everything.
  • We’ll explore the key principles of the stress model and how it can guide and inform every clinical action you take.
  • Examining the Parenting Continuum and how to differentiate between love and fear based practices.

Day Two:

  • Parents will join us for a day of intense education and emotional exploration as we answer the question: What am I missing in my relationship with my child

Day Three:

  • The principles of family centered regulatory parenting

  • How this one little practice will have your clients feeling and seeing in a manner they’ve never done before
  • How to become certified POST and what this can do for your life and community
  • The one true key to ending world conflict

I’m excited to be offering my therapist camp for one more year and I hope this new exposure to families as they are learning and processing will be rewarding to your growth as a therapist. I take these events very serious and you will be asked to go to emotional places that might make you very uncomfortable.

Am I discouraging you from attending? Well actually I probably am. My camps simply aren’t for every therapist out there. I won’t be giving you some quick-fix trauma tool. I’m not interested in getting into a long debate about why children should or should not given consequences, medications, behavior modification charts, etc. I’m only interested in sharing what I’ve learned during the past fourteen years that has helped a great number of families find hope where there previously was none.

CE’s have previously been approved for this event by Old Dominion University Darden College of Continuing Education and I suspect they will be again. However, I encourage you to come because you want to learn about healing and the power of love to overcome fear rather than to get CE’s. You should go sit in someone else’s class for a couple of days where you can at least nap! There won’t be any napping here, promise.
Guarantee: If at anytime you are not satisfied with your learning experience just let me know and I’ll provide you a full refund, no questions asked.
There are 10 seats for this event.

Again there are only 10 seats available and this will put the event right to the limit for how many I can let in. Last years 3 day course was truly powerful and I expect more this year. I believe you will be pleasantly challenged and surprised.

If this moves you then I hope to see you in May. It should be lovely weather in Raleigh then. If it does not then I hope to see you in the future. Please feel free to forward this e-mail to your professional colleagues.

Thank you very much for your time.
